The Bandit and the Rogue
Quick little picture :p, I was listing to this song and it reminded me of those two ~
Another Audio Show update, and another female bandit from Wild Card’s crew. This time it’s Tumble ( birth name: Breeze Rush ), the other half of the gryphon and pony duo: Rough and Tumble.
Tumble comes from a proud and noble lineage…one she isn’t fond of remembering. Her entire family tree has consisted of military ponies, her parents presently being active members of a well known squadron of flight-based Royal Guards in the service of Princess Celestia. Born a rebel and a vagabond, she detests the uptight pedigree she stems from and, despite the strict and confining nature of her parents, she took to the road as soon as she was of age. She met her current partner in crime-the griffon Rough-during her aimless travels, where she bested him through wit alone and won his respect and loyalty.
Tumble is a smooth talker and femme fatale, without question. Her greatest weapons are her silver tongue and the velvety coo of her voice, enticing even the most hardened soldier or criminal into letting their guard down. Her usefulness to her companions is vast, showing proficiency in being a strategic distraction; a trap to lure in the easily duped; an aerial scout; and even a master of disguise should the need arise. Her laid back demeanor is also her undoing however, as she has a tendency to be very lazy when not properly motivated. Her reasoning for saddling up with a group of thieves is obvious, but she’s no tramp or pushover. She remains impervious to the charms of all stallions, even Wild Card ( much to his chagrin). Though she’s loyal to her companions, her endeavors are meant to satiate her own happiness; her well-being plays second fiddle to nothing.
Tumble hasn’t quite found her specific talent, and thus, doesn’t have a cutie mark. She’s not in a rush to find it, either.
I’m doing lines for a project KingSparta, aka DeltaBrony is putting together, and as payment he did a really awesome battle theme for Wild Card! I love this guy’s remixes, and it was really cool of him to do this for me. You can check out his Youtube here. Thanks again, bro!

Hey, let’s do an actual update for the Audio Show. Here’s the concept work for one of the female members of Wild Card’s bandit group : Thorny Barb, or just ‘Barb’ for short.
Barb is an earth pony who has lived in the great outdoors for most of her life, away from the hustle and bustle of cities or kingdoms. Thick muscled; stocky; and a few hands taller than most of the male bandits in the group, she’s an intimidating force to be reckoned with. As a hunter by trade, her senses are honed for close combat and tracking, wielding weaponry like spears and her patented bear trap on a sling. It might seem strange for a herbivore to deal in skinning and selling pelts for a living, but having lived on the border of the Gryphon Kingdom in the past she once made a decent living bartering and trading with said mythical beasts. Her sizable wisdom from years in the wilds is obviously useful, but her extended period away from advancing civilization has made her uncomfortable around cities and the folk within them.
Her reasons for choosing the outlaw life are kept between herself and Wild Card. Her personality is stoic and no-nonsense, though she retains a ‘mother hen’ like mindset when around younger, up-and-coming thieves, an expected trait as she’s the oldest equine in the group. Occasionally, when she sees faults and flaws in the way Wild Card manages his gang, Barb never hesitates to expel advice or a healthy threat his way to bring him off his pedastool.
Her cutie mark is a worn, stone arrowhead.
More real updates soon.
Okay, so we partied hard a while back. No biggie, right?
((HELLO FRIEND I LOVE YOU I HOPE I DIDNT BUTCHER YOUR BADASS OC AGAIN))

Dizzy: Phyre tell me a story before bed!
Phyre: Hmm. Well, there was once a young Alicorn-
Dizzy: NO no no no NO no. I want a scary story!
Phyre: Before bed?
Dizzy: ALWAYS scary stories before bed.
Phyre: Okay. Just don’t set the bed on fire when you have nightmares. Alright, so there was once a little changeling-
Dizzy: Phsaw, Phyre changelings aren’t scary! I could take em myself.
Phyre: Oh you could, could you?
Dizzy: Yeah! With my catlike reflexes! They’d be no match!
Phyre: Catlike reflexes? Like that time you ran away from the second story window of the hotel in Appaloosa because you didn’t want a bath, and fell on someone’s ( @thetalesofwildcard ) face?
Dizzy: That was intentional.
Phyre: Riiight. You’re just lucky it was some nice guy who didn’t mind a kid dragon messing with his fine hat. I hear there are supposed to be bandits out in those parts.
Dizzy: Ooooh! Bandits are cool! Bandit stories are better than scary stories. Tell me a story about bandits!
Phyre: *Sigh* Only if you promise to go to sleep after.
A draw for you ! You decide the rest… xD
(( Ahh this was so sweet of you! Thank you so much!! I don’t deserve any fan art, but it always warms my heart when people send it. <3 All them unicorns seem to have a thing for strapping earth ponies! ))
I’ve cast most of the roles for the audio play that I advertised a month or so ago. The writers are working on the first script, though it will be delayed due to their own schedules this month and some of next. I have one audio engineer waiting in the wings and am still determining if I should get one more. I’m balancing what artist to grab and do concept work for each character.
That all being said, there are still two roles I was unable to cast, mainly because none of the voice types I received matched what I had in mind. Those roles were Rough and Tumble, the bandit gryphon and mare duo whose info can be found here.
I’ll be accepting more auditions for these two characters until they are properly cast, so there’s no time or date limit. If you’re interested, please look at the above link and send all auditions to email@example.com, with the message header dictating your name and what character you’ll be auditioning for.
MP3 or Wav files are preferred. Please limit background noise and hiss with noise cancellation. Condenser or professional USB mics should be the standard for this audition. No laptop or cheap computer microphones.
The drink bomb! Works everytime…
Featuring Wild Card
((since I haven’t showed that much of Billie’s pranks, huehue))
If you weren’t a kid…
Although, it was a good’n.
( I’ve pimped out Billie’s blog before, but I’m quite thankful they answered my silly ask so — I will again. c: )
